MolViewApp is an iPad molecular structure viewer. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: MolViewApp does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
None. MolViewApp does not collect any personal information. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
All molecular structure processing and rendering happens entirely on your device. Structures you open from local files never leave your device.
When you load a structure by its PDB identifier, the app fetches that public structure file directly from the RCSB Protein Data Bank (rcsb.org). This request contains only the requested PDB identifier and standard network information; it includes no personal data from you. No other network connections are made.
MolViewApp does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any.
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from users of any age.
